The Love of God is full of Wonder

The Love of God is full of Wonder

I thank God that no matter what loss and pain we go through he is always drawing us closer to him. And if we surrender to this relentless love we are strengthened, restored, and comforted in ways that only he can.  Jesus brings love and joy out of sorrow. With an eternal perspective we get to see Jesus at work and have comfort in knowing that this life isn’t it. We still have forever. And the ones that have already went to be with our God are praying on our behalf and encouraging us on to finish our race in the plans God has for us.

This is the God of love that we get to serve, know, and love. These photos are from a friend in my book study group. God brought the hearts to her sister before she ever heard God’s heart story after her sweet beautiful child went into eternity from brain cancer in 2015. She adopted this dog 6 months after that had a heart on it. The family didn’t notice it until they got home. Then fast forward to three weeks ago and the first bloom in her daughters garden had a heart leaf above it that was planted in her remembrance. The first flower is what the mom saw and her sister (my friend) saw the heart leaf above it. Gods love reaches beyond our understanding. This is our God of wonder and love.

“Look at the nations and watch—
and be utterly amazed.
For I am going to do something in your days
that you would not believe,
even if you were told.” Habakkuk 1:5
