13 Nov This I know God is for us.
I was making a meal last week to take to a dear family who just lost their Mom and a husband who lost his wife after battling breast cancer. She like my Mom is in the presence of her King and is healed. But what about us right? In my grief at losing my mom early in life and now a friend God showed up. While I was preparing this meal he spoke his thoughts and truth to my heart. When my Mom passed away God told me to look for the hearts when I cried out to him and out of that A Royal Love Revealed came to past. This time I was greeted with a heart sweet potato as I was cutting it up and praying for this family.
Shocking right! But not really because God’s word says he is for us and is tender hearted towards our sufferings. Psalms 56:8 “You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.” This scripture is saying he sees us, he comforts us, he remembers, he restores us, he loves us. Our tears aren’t futile. He knows us intimately and loves us endlessly. One day he will wipe every tear from our eyes and there will be no more death and we will share in that joy with him. (Revelations 21:4) We won’t have every question answered in this life concerning our sufferings but putting our hope in Christ will get us through and bring goodness that we could never imagine. Until then we will be seen and loved through every suffering by a relational God that is with us and is worthy of our trust.
